The image you gave above may look good (which I don't think so) but think about if you had a very wide screen or a very short screen. The width of the website may look good on your screen but I have a very large screen and having all of the content taking only half of my screen really annoys me.
Look at all of these websites none of them have a fixed width but they may still have plenty of graphics:
-google.com
-artlebedev.ru
-aquilastudio.com
-good-tutorials.com

Design requires a hierarchy of information. Right now you have no one thing that is most important (usually your logo or company name) and so the viewer doesn't have a clue what the site is for.

Create a hierarchy and try to stick with current web standards so you don't confuse your audience with things like your navigation menu being in the middle of the page.

I also don't recommend lots of deep blends on a site because when you crunch them down to jpg you end up with serious banding issues. Keep in mind you want your site to load quickly.

(poke through the various articles and you'll get a good feel for design past and present.)

At the same time, following 'standards' can lead to boring. Some may feel a site that does not follow the same ol', same ol, is unique and therefor, thier product is unique. Not to contradict what natobasso is saying too much but if my client (or potential client) is using dial-up, they have bigger problems. So load speeds are not as much of an issue as they used to be.

I love the deep reds but agree a more solid branding is required. Name it like the 'Seven layers of Hell" or something trippy and carry the theme all the way through.

Hi Satheeth,

Offering Design : Please remember that clients trust you when they come to you. To most people their business is their whole life. You as a designer have a responsibility to help them like their life depended on you, with professional and well thought out design plan. If you are unable to provide them with that, don't do it until you can.

Fixed vs Fluid : This is a highly emotional and personal issue. As there are many sites with fluid width there are many sites out there with fixed width that have high traffic. (Want a list?) It's mostly content dependant.

Graphic Design Ideas : I frequent sites where I can see what's being done lately. http://www.k10k.net for instance has a daily roll (under links) that provide links to good websites both web related and art related. I bookmark many design firms so I can go over to their place to see what they've been doing. It often helps me to think wider. Here's a short list where you can find a mass of creative designs. (Remember that copying a design is not part of the designer's lifestyle. Gaining inspiration is.)
