Need help saving illustrator file for indesign...

ive never encountered a problem doing this. every time i try to place a vector logo from illustrator into indesign it looks all pixelated and crappy. ive tried placing it as a pdf, eps, and as an ai file and nothing seems to look good. The eps looks the best, but it has white boxes behind the image. Does anyone have some advice for me please?

Did you ctrl click or right click the placed image and set the display performance to "High Quality"?

I set the display performance to high as the default. This is only good if you have a speedy machine, however.
