Need Help With Graphic Design
Jokenjin (6 pencils) | Mon, 2006-07-10 20:03Hey Everyone,
I'm actually asking for help from ANYONE! Basically, I would like someone to design a logo for two topics:
1. Couch Potato
2. Thumb Gen / Thumb Generation
Anything and everything that comes to mind will be great. It's actually for a company that I'm working with. If the design really wows the company, there could be monetary compensation, but there is no guarentee on that.
Also, if you have any comments or suggestioins, then feel free to reply!
Ideally, we'd like computer graphics, but if you can hand create one and then we can scan it into a PC, then that would work as well.
Thanks.

Not really - just looking for ideas at this point.
Find a designer you trust and work with that person. Remember that a logo is a long-term investment.

Each to their own but there's seems to be more and more speculative work offers floating around these days. If it's worth something to your company, then give a rough estimate of what compensation you could offer to a designer for their time and effort.
You wouldn't ask a bunch of plumbers to install a shower on the off chance of one them possibly getting paid.
Free to disagree but here's some more info here about why some designers feel strongly about this

I am an expert in being a couch potato! Drop me an email and we can make your logo, have a look on my site for pricing and stuff.
