hi chase, I'm new here to creativebits too...I wanted to connect and just give some fhonest feedback. My design teacher insisted on keeping it simple strong with a solution.. you have created some strong lines by reversing the R created a hook then...you lost me a bit with the uneven Bold letters...Good Strong Lines Nice technical execution. You may consider incorporating a film element to give a solution, this may brand you better as the star is ok yet combined with the lines is not tooo memorable. and what honestly does this added element add or solve to make your logo stick in peoples mind. I like the big letters ...my eye is jumping around to much for me to be ok with it, I find this needs more strength and simplicity...the tilt angle could work to generate interest, moving up energy

First off, welcome!
Secondly, the following is the result of a lot of logo discussion of late having to do with what is a logo. Read this thread for more on where I'm coming from with the following comments:

It's okay, but the balance is so drastic between the RF and the text below it that your logo won't work on all applications. Make a favicon for a website (16px x 16px) and you'll see the small type disappear.
Also, remove the blend. Do your logos in black and white first before adding anything fancy, then you will know your logo/icon shape works without it.
I worked for a company that distributed films for three years doing design work and I can tell you that making this logo vector is key for usage. Also, the rotated version needs to go. It's hard to read and you certainly don't want that when your logo will be seen on average for less than 3 seconds (I assume you'll use it as a bumper/lead in on your films?).
That being said, I don't like how the R and F are disconnected from the rest of their words and I think you can do better with your logo than just using the initials.
Make me FEEL something with your logo. This one is too literal for any sort of reaction.
