New larusson.com web
larusson (713 points) | Mon, 2005-05-02 18:52Since I just got this up, I thought I might hear what you guys think.
It's my personal site, and the plan was to make a site that was VERY simple, so my work could have plenty of room to breathe in. :)

Very nice larusson! I guessed your url without looking at your user profile. ;)
I think you took small type to it's very limits. Surprisingly I didn't find it disturbingly small, but I guess there are people who will.
Love the logo.
I'm jealous for your site now. ;)
Really love your logo, and the site being so clean with that finishing touch in the top left really does it for me....
If you dont mind me making suggestions, would you consider :
- more line spacing (mainly on the right / content)
- on the right, you have the title of the work, this imo could do with being a little bigger (only a px/pt size bigger)
- maybe justify the right/content to make it feel nice and aligned ....
These are just personal preferences, but i love the feel to the site. Lots of great white space !
Will you be building the site with pure css? It's screaming out for css to be used ;)

Very nice! I might up the leading a little bit just to make it a little easier to read... but, very nice!
if i only knew CSS.
I actually thought about trying CSS for it... and I know it is supposed to be veeeery simple... but I'm not much of a coder... :/
About your comments, piceljunki, thanks. There is one there I would like to try fixing, and that is the line spacing. Does anyone know how to fix this in html?
Thanks for the comments guys. :)

That's so nice of you Jammo! :D
The least i could do would be nothing lol, but as the world needs to use tables for 'tabular data' and I want to see more sites using pure css I thought I'd spread the word ;).
I dont mind helping people out, after all, isn't this what Creative Bits is all about? :)

A great example of minimalism at its best. You've used very little, but just enough. To quote Einstein, "Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler."
