I don't know if it just me but I really dig the new Dashboard icon which represents the widget tool that is coming along with Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger.
I think the icon or is it a logo? Is really nice, it's a new personal favourite! 8)

Fruitful Design Solutions
I find it takes a bit of time to get it perfect (we're not seeing the scrapped versions of this). Getting the shades and gradients just right so it looks like that really slick glassy look apple loves using can be a pain sometimes, for me at least.

and I do like it... 'specially now that I see it so big
excellent design. if i have time, i'll try to recreate it and i will measure the time just for the fun of it. i'm guessing i can do it within 30 mins, but i agree with Georg coming up with the idea could've taken days.

this is how far i got in exactly 30 mins. not quite finished yet. i guess i would need another hour or so to get it done right.
