Next Automotors

Can't do the production work just yet. Very busy. This logo is for a new American automotive company. Yup, they make CARS!

I want to know if you think this mark is worth investigating further.

Thanks guys. Now I'll put on my programmers hat and check back later to see what you think.

BTW, I bought a new large moleskin and various implements of analog drawing. First time ever I'm designing outside the computer with some amount of precision. Having a blast.

Without my sense of direction, I don't know where I'd be.

Well for your first freehand piece, it sure looks like the perfect candidate for a pure computer solution. Except it's too nazi - sorry Cao - I'd drop the idea and move on for that reason alone.

definite swastika overtones. But good work on going analogue! the gridded moleskine is my favourite.

hahahaaa! I've just seen the vag.

OK, OK! Let me tell you why I was hoping against hope on this mark.

The logo incorporates all the letters of the company name. "Next". If it weren't for the damned gNazis, it'd be the logo of the century.

Without my sense of direction, I don't know where I'd be.

I feel that if the X-Men originated under Hitler's rule... then aside from some minor tweaking, it's perfect ;)

And no wonder my ideas never look good on paper before hand - I'm not using the Vagina Guidelines! (sorry, couldn't resist).

I like the mark, but it does look natzi- maybe revisit this same mark without the horizonal-ish line?

I see "next" as an arrow.

I really appreciate somebody having the nerve and the forethought to sketch out a logo before going digital!!!

It could be Nazi-ish to some, a Peace symbol to others, a religious icon...whatever...but at my first glance it conveyed wheel, steering, very automotive so in my opinion you've captured the essence of the product. I think you have something here and would continue working it up.

Nice work.
Cheers.
