G5 Xbox2
Rumors again, but it would give a good bit of PR for Apple if MS decided to use the same IBM chip as it is used in Macs.
The biggest question for Xbox owners with regards to the upcoming launch of Xbox 2 is, of course, backwards compatibility. Apple Insider is reporting that delays of Virtual PC 7 are due to the fact that the project has been given exclusively to the Xbox team. Of course, this immediately makes us think that this would be to ensure Xbox backwards compatibility on the Xbox 2.
In February, Microsoft released the Software Development Kit (SDK) for its forthcoming Xbox 2 video game console. Since the Xbox 2 will utilize IBM processors similar to the ones used in today's Macintosh systems, the SDK was seeded to developers on dual Apple Power Mac G5 systems running a custom Windows NT Kernel.

Looks like God and Satan are finally starting to shake hands. Interesting.
I've always been a big Ninten
I've always been a big Nintendo fan, they've been making games loner than Microsoft. I've always thought of them as the Mac of console games. The gamecube proccessor is based on the g3 power pc. I wonder how their next generation console will campare (they are historically more secretive about those things than microsoft).
i think Nintendo will be eate
i think Nintendo will be eaten up by MS and Sony :(

Maybe, but afew years ago people said the same about Apple. Right now Nintendo has a strong hold on the handheld market, kind of like apple with the ipod. Sure, Sony finally is relesing a handheld, for people willing to pay as much as a console. Time will well how well it does. Their ipod competition still doesn't match up. I guess part of it is growing up with Nintendo, part is rooting for the underdog, and part is just liking their games better, but I think they still have a chance. If they could just get the third party support they need...
