Öræfasveit - pictures from iceland
larusson (713 pencils) | Mon, 2005-04-18 00:46This has really no connection what so ever to design, unless you take into factor that I took this ride to the south-east of iceland to prepare me for a design project, but i thought someone might like it.
It's pictures from my weekend trip with my mom to a place called Öræfasveit in Iceland. It's a strip along the south coast of Iceland, about 200 km long and only 92 people live there. It's also the place where they filmed the icy-takes for the new batman movie (you see the glacier in the trailer) and also the newest 007 movie... the first tomb raider movie and much more.
It's a beautiful place with active glaciers, yearly floods, high winds that blow 12 ton trucks off the ground and the most sunny days in iceland. Amazing place.

Overall I like the pics but I am curious as to how much was done in PS to enhance the colors or were these posted raw off the camera without any enhancements. Can you also tell us what camera you used? Thank you.
Good photography. LOVE the color saturation and contrast :)
Wonderful shots, larusson. Thanks!
Alec
I use a canon d60 with a sigma 28-200 lens. Only thing that has been done to the pics is that they have been leveled in PS, one might have a slight contrast change... I never do anything else to them.
Thanks for the comments... :)
