Agreed with you.
I like the "DecoTech" font used in the others better. number 6 is nice as it gives a bit of that "digital" effect to it.
1 - What on earth is this ;p
2 - Shape that says nothing + it's not unique
3 - ditto
4 - I don't know what this is but it looks like a brake caliper in play shape, has potentional though (i think)
5 - Shape says nothing and not unique, blaaah.
6 - Has some potentional.
Try to sketch, I'm not sure if you actually done that. Sketch on paper, not in Illustrator.

but unless hes producing video for video producers. nobdy is going to understand - or care...
Ah, alright. Now people don't have to understand it though, as long as you can justify it, so that logo is justified. Now it has to be made prettier ;p

i TOTALLY disagree. i come from the old school. and my rule is never use gradients in a logo. regardless of "trends" or current use.
1 and 4 without the PLAY symbol and no skew on the mark.

The issue is most everything we currently have uses that text, so I am trying to recycle a bit of the logo...
