Once Nearly Invisible To Search Engines, Flash Files Can Now Be Found And Indexed

That has been one of the biggest drawbacks to creating a Website or application that displays itself as a Flash (SWF) file. Search engines could see the file, but they could not see what was in it. Until now.
How long have we waited for THIS?! :) Of course it will probably start a rash of "Splash Pages" all over again. Anything that gets used gets over used.

This is really excellent news!
That IS really good news. Although it scares me because now I might have to learn more about Flash than my limited knowledge of just using it to create animated web banner ads.
I've yet to attempt developing an entire web site using flash.
Flash is a strange beast. So powerful and yet so overused. I hope this latest advancement doesn't start a rash of overuse!
