One thing I've noticed

With the growing number of broadband users out there, less and less people are using crappy MIDI on their bad websites, and more and more are using crappy mp3s on their bad websites.

Any other similar trends out there?

Excessive flashturbation...what a descriptive term . As a dial-up user, any flashturbation is excessive. When I see a site uses flash I usually just move on, especially if it's a commercial site. I figure they don't want my business.

I think that ANY sound on a website is immature and unprofessional. Over 70% of people browsing the net use their computer to listen to music as well, either internet radio or Mp3s or CDs. There is nothing more annoying than the superposition of a website's music and the one the computer is playing already in the background. :?
