well ok then... ummm, no lens flare - and the kerning is tightened -5 - good eye... the smiley face was actually in fact a joke - the top one was the idea... thanks for the constructive advice - ill take note ;-)
There's a way the bow tie might work. But not like that. Which letter would be more appropriate?
reworked...
Yay, she guessed it!
Seriously, this is a big step in the right direction, imo. A few suggestions - fix the kerning with the 'R' and 'S', and maybe try a rich red for the tie and subtitle? Or better yet, find a slightly more memorable font.
Also, a larger, better looking bow-tie would work wonders for the eventual scaled down version, and would allow you to make the buttons larger, which you'll also need for the scaling. Maybe try lapels? ...don't know, that might just be right-out.
From success to failure is one step. From failure to success is a long road.
Execution is everything here. This is one of those ideas that can be everything from a home run to totally cheeseball. Right now it's leaning towards the latter imo. :)
oh well maybe im delusional to think i can be anything close to a real designer - thanks for the helpful advice!

last try at getting something going, then im ditching the whole idea
ok last ditch effort to save the tie
or would a more relaxed font that goes with the curves of the lapel work better - in your opinion
*slow clap*
Much, MUCH better.

Old font from before my last comment is better, imo, and lapel lines should be sharper. Or play around with ditching the lapel and put in a collar instead. You're on a much better track - don't get discouraged now!

thank you! im going to mess with it more... but im done for today!!!!!
For me, the buttons, a VERY simplified bow tie (NOT this one) and a nice font should be enough. Try a sans serif font like avant garde and go for understated instead of clip-arty. You'll be amazed.
this last version is a HUGE improvement. but its still a screamingly obvious solution.
thanks! ive been trying... obvious solutions? ha - nothings obvious to me anymore - my head is stuck in a pail of mud
happens to the best of us...
Well I think you need to improve this to make it freshy because it's web, it's not a publisher of books or tailor logo.
yes I'm brazilian xD
i totally agree! freshy - i like that!
