Only Children Weep
zagadka (131 points) | Tue, 2007-09-11 01:23This is a design exercise that I do often. This time the copy is a paragraph from To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee. The original paragraph is: "I don't know, but they did it. They've done it before, they did it tonight, and they will do it again and when they do it it seems that only children weep.", said by Atticus Finch after his African client was convicted of a crime that he was innocent of.
I tried to make the letters say the content visually and physically.

I am quickly becoming a huge fan!
Wow, this is great. I really like this quote, and the way you presented it just made its impact so much bigger. Thanks!
