Wow, I've never tried Opera until now and I gotta say... it's quite nice. It could definitely give Firefox a challange if it were ever to go totally free.
Opera is superior to FF in most of it's functions, but I feel the FF plugins just too important for me. Especially the web dev plugins and aardvark.
