Opinions plz :)

Hi, a recently made a logo for a tech/informatics company, and i woul like to hear your opinions.

http://temp.struct.hu/logo.jpg

I wanted to avoid the symbol+company name combination, so i tried to mix them.

What do you think about it?

I like the feel of it, I'd add color and make it more readable.

As it is right now I can't really read the name of the company.

not bad after all, but:

- it took me too much time to figure it out - especially the "r" was hard to read

- the black and white versions suck in compraison with the ai screenshot

(http://temp.struct.hu/ss.jpg) i really like that pattern or whatever

- after examining a bit, i noticed there's something wrong with the connection of "t" and "r" of struct, maybe it's the jpeg, or the screenshot, but there's a tiny inconsistency between the lines, esp in the bottom

ati

ps: nice, big-big-big-big screen display!

Thanks, guys :D

One of my goal was to make it unreadable so people start to figure it out, and think about the logo. They know that it is some kind of name, but at the first look they can't figure it out, so they start to examine it (hopefuly :) ).

I made some other versions to that pattern, but it's looks a bit like some gucci or versace pattern for me :)

Hmm, do you think that it's better with the thin 45deg lines?

Yeah the screenshot shows on older version..

I'm thinking about some color schemes but that'll be a next step :D

Thanks for you comments so far.

ps:

It's a viewsonic vp201b, i love it :D

Thanx guys :)
The client picked Fractal 2 but probably the next set of prints will be one from infinity set.
Dont you think that Fractal's B side is better than Infinity's B Side? I think Fractal's is better :)

A couple more jobs like this, and i could finally switch to mac :D
Thanks for your comments :)

No wonder client liked the logo. It's very strong! I hope you will get your reward of a shiny new Mac with Tiger on it soon.
