i'm not sure i get the stripe going through the design. first, i don't quite get what it is. it looks like water drops on an red/orange bg with green rind on either side, but it's probably something else that i don't understand.

i don't know why you have the graphic drop mostly hidden behind the two orange wedges, either. it seems to lose purpose like that.

you should work on hierarchy a bit. the logo and the product name are both pretty much the same level of hierarchy, so it's confusing which thing to read first.

The overall impression is very nice at first (your use of the orange shades and general weighting of design elements). On second look, though, I have to urge you to simplify. There is too much going on here. That stream of orange bubbles is creepy. It reminds me of a medical illustration.

Looks like a blood vessel in the background. I might understand this if it were a medicinal product. There's just too much of one color range, and it's a little hard on my eyes. I think some darker green highlights and edging may help ease some eye strain. Also some contrasting oranges may help, rather than just using varying shades of the same color. I would suggest a clear drinking glass containing the product, rather than the big drop-like thing, or some other vertical product-related object that would be familiar in this beverage setting. The orange slices are fine in the foreground, and are well placed. The general logo and labeling layout are also well placed. The bottom left corner would be a great spot for special messages, such as a product benefit alert (contains vitamins...) , or some special offer advert. The top label on the canned version probably should be moved ever so slightly to the upper-right, and made a just slightly bigger. I actually think the overall pattern theme works very well on the can. Cartons, however, can be difficult because the flat sided nature doesn't lend itself as well to rounded effects. Overall it's a pretty good attempt, but I would try a few more minor alterations. ---Will

It's not Tropicana.
Don't know what you're aiming for so I don't know if that's good or not.

The stripe reminds me or pomegranate.
