OS X 10.4.8 update is out! Can CS / Intel Mac users rejoice now?

One of the fixes is "Improves the accuracy of Rosetta numerics and addresses Altivec translation issues on Intel-based Macs."

Dare we hope that this includes the long-rumored fix for the strange decimal fraction rounding in Adobe Creative Suite for we Intel Mac users? I'm almost afraid to go home and find out.

I didn't even know that rosetta was the cause of that problem, but it was driving me crazy, and I was going to ask what to do about in the forum.

Yup, Rosetta it was. The bug still pops up a few times, but it's always limited to things like "8.7999999999999999" where the end will always just be 9's, and that I can deal with. Before we were getting the whackiest things like "8.805050505"

I somewhat experienced an increase in speed of CS2 as well. Am I imagining things?

You know I felt it was a smidge faster, but it's nothing I thought to measure beforehand.

I'm having a lot of issues with Illustrator CS2 crashing in 10.4.8. Can't tell if they popped up after the update or if they also occurred in 10.4.7.
