I don't use font book for anything, primarily because it's inefficient and doesn't work correctly. The way it loads collections causes the computer to drag unbearably at login and application launch, and though free it feels worse.
Instead, I use Font Agent Pro, which I LOVE. It's better than ATM or Suitcase ever were, does intelligent font repair and quarantine, and is fast and easy. Even sports a decent font auto-activation feature that activates new fonts on the fly, as needed, when documents are launched. Pretty killer stuff. Lose font book with the rocker mouse. They both belong in the garbage.

I'm planning to move to Font Agent Pro from Suitcase myself. Thanks for the minireview.
Which one is the rocker mouse? Is it the titmouse?
If I was to make the move to Font Agent Pro from Font Book what should be done about Font Book? I notice that drag at login and app launch that you mentioned Geoff, but if I go and install Font Agent Pro will that deactivate Font Book or is there some process I need to do to make the proper switch? Hope that makes sense!
