OS X Tiger: Your Opinion
Craig (235 pencils) | Mon, 2004-11-29 11:11Ok, so you're walking down the street one day this winter and you happen to run into Steve Jobs. After his treating you to a cup of hot chocolate (since it's winter), he asks your opinion as to what should be in the next version of OS X. What would be the best changes and additions to Cocoa (get it...hot chocolate..haha), the Finder, Safari, the GUI, etc.? Are there features that have already been announced for Tiger that you dislike or would do different? How would you respond?

I would say, look man, I got a lot of revolutionary ideas for Tiger, but I won't make you even richer for free. Man give me a job! Please! Please! :)
not really a new feature, but i think Apple needs to give credit where it's due to several products which Tiger seems to 'copy', like Konspose', and Quicksilver. As far as new features, when a dialog box appears with several buttons, i'd like a way to move between buttons without touching my mouse, for example on a PC you press tab to move between things...
that's about all i can come up with : /
I would like to have the ability to "window shade" my windows instead of using the program windowshade. Also the ability to change the color of actual folders, i know there is an app for that as well. The trash as an icon on the desktop would be nice. And above all, Have ical automatically change the date in the dock on the icon without opening the program. Thats all I got right now.
