OSDI Identity and Collateral

So here's the proposed package. The client wants red and blue, but doesn't want the identity to look too patriotic. So although he is happy with it, I'm still considering changing the colors. Thoughts?

Oh, and for printing, I'm going to try to get the majority down to 2/2 or 2/1 with an emboss. I'm still a little new at this, so if you wonderful people foresee any problems, please let me know.

His company, Onsite Development Inc. (I know, the acronym is a little off) specializes in fast, and high quality construction. so hopefully you can see some of that in the image.

Thanks so much for your help and feedback! I just want to say I appreciate everyone who posts here on CB even if I'm not to active in the community. Hopefully when I rase my rates, and work slows down, Ill have more time to make my full time freelance passion not so much of a freelance burden.

I like the die cut for the card, though the space between the white box and the edge of the card is pretty thin. I wonder if that might be a problem with printing. I do like the colors you used, they're not reading as patriotic/US flag.

Good insight. I was planning on having it go to the edge, but it would be hard to register. I'll play around with moving it away, or fully off.
Thanks!

PS. oops for hitting post twice

You have a great design here. Well done! Not only that, your red and blue dont' make me think of the American flag at all, so no worries about the Patriotic thing. Good color choices.

My only gripe is the red and blue aren't applied consistently to the logo or the letterhead. Is the logo supposed to be red, blue, or white? Once you resolve this I am fully on board with this design.

Overall, great work. My only comment would have been the choice between a blind emboss or knockout with the business card. With it being diecut, I would have considered removing the stock within the solid white of the logo rather than embossing it.
But that's it. (tips her hat)

This is great design! I love the theme. It does not seem patriotic to me. These are good shades of blue and red as well.

At first glance, based on the logo, I would think of audio-production, not construction. But I think that's ok, the only thing I might do is add the full name of the company on the front of the business card.
