Besides the ones with the bull, they are all very generic and boring. in regards to the one with the bull, I'm assuming they don't mind identifying themselves with the abuse and cruelty associated with the bull runs? And once the eventual ban on bull runs hit the whole country, will they request a change in logo?

Leaky: yeap like i said, is a school project that probably will not go further than class presentation
as per the cruelty and all that i didnt really think in bulls just because of the runs, it is true that it is one of the most famous facts about pamplona but the bull also means:

luxury, strength, peace, protection, comfort, being positive, determination, bounty, wealth and so on, so that is one of the aspects i really wanted to portray.

Ranamaju : yes i know it looks a lot like the logo you mentioned but merrills also looks like other bulls icons or representations in the web besides i drew this one myself.

i see paramount pictures logo in the upper right.

im with leaky. i find all of them (aside from the upper left. which i kind of enjoy!) either, easy, obvious, dated or just wrong.

i say start over. or spend more time evolving the upper left one

I really don't know if you need to use Spanish references for this logo.

You can use white and blue (your country flag colors) instead of fake red and blue.

like always you guys are of great help! i feel i am cheating because i think i have the greatest designers team backing me up with ideas jajaja but everything is a learning experience!
Now at least i have one reference to go with, and what do you think would be a good start point to evolve the upper left one!

i wonder if you need the complete bull? maybe you could articulate the head and shoulders more?

try extending the horns out of the circle and make the nose ring more pronounced.

Also the one with only text, looks like you used a Paramount look-a-like font. So..uh..di ya?

paramount was never in mind when i did this, i used a caligraphic font just to convey some classy elegance ont it that's it.

and for the mark in the circle , letme see if i understand, to extend the horns out you mean as if the circle had the horns on the outside not the inside right

Personally, I love the H&P logo mark of the bottom two. It reminds me of an old art deco hotel. But that could be because of the Eccentric font used in the word too.
