Getting closer? (I'm including just the first panel, per request). The problem with Trajan as my serif font is (as I now recall) it doesn't have a lower case. But I think it's in the right ballpark. I'll play with that some more.

Thanks for cropping, I just wanted to see how the hilt cropped. I think it crops nicely.
If you limit Trajan to headlines you'll be fine. Though you may want to rethink your main body font. I think you'll want a fairly light font to pair with Trajan.
Gill Sans light? You'll have to do some experimenting.

Gill Sans Light is a good go-with for Trajan, Shawn. I haven't used it in a while, either, because I once overused it (as did others -- it was the Cooper Black of the 80s, IIRC). I'll put it on my list of possibles. Thanks.

it's a good face for the subject. i would try setting the 2nd line with it aligned to the bottom of the first descender of the W instead of the left edge.

Considerable fine-tuning to come. My need for a lower case isn't for the cover, but the body copy elsewhere in the brochure. I don't like to use sans serif fonts for that.
