its a hotel basically, so far my theme is the road in the center with a hint of elegance in the font

Ok thats a start. But tell me more! What sort of hotel is it? Where is it located? What is the target audience? Is this a 5-star hotel or a 2-star or what? Any interior theme that would influence the logo design??

Try not to be so literal with your idea. Think elegant hotel, if that's what it is, I guess you didn't specify. There's nothing elegant about a road.

There is a disconnect between the type and logo. The type is open and loose, while the logo is rigid and blocky. The type has not one straight angle in all its paths, but the logo is a series of straight lines. I can see the road, but only because I know what you were going for. I don't see it as a form going into space. Did you sketch ideas on paper or go straight to the computer?

i'm sorry i really dont like this, i would lose the road all together, If you want elegance i would go towards a tree design to emphasize the park, not a road as this just pulls me toward thinking its a car park. Stick with elegance, thin and flowing stay away from thick and blocky.

Geez, the worst part is depending on what kind of hotel it is this logo could actually work. With a bit of imagination and a new font this could be a definitive winner. You just have to see it.
