surprisingly cute for IT logo
yes I'm brazilian xD
is it a good start?
Why did you pick a baloon? Any reason? It is indeed cute for a IT logo but the logo, to me, says "Children Hospital Care with a touch of Twitter."

I think your baby has some expected ICB - "I can't believe" - reactions as we seen.
If you put a badged boxes at hotel lounge and everyone passes by, all will imagine some new diapers brand. I feel it near Skype's logo approach as I told you before. At least there are some pros: the brand will smell freshy (the typo not so much) every morning like a cleaned baby that never grows up. The executives profiles goes lighter with this logo on their business cards. Some cons basically go towards strong RYKM - "Are you kidding me" - factor and initially some annoying situation at hotel lounges xD
Overall, I prefer this baloon logo going to redesign process than that cloudy I'm-thinking-about-nothing-in-particular new logo that will become a new IT logo fever.

What is your reasoning for using the clouds and balloon? How are either logo conveying the use of computers and telecommunications?
To me, the clouds say my head is lost in them...not a very secure feeling for a company that I'm going to entrust my electronic information with. And the balloon....sick kids, the zoo, *pop*, float away..still not saying IT.

I like these near-nonsense approaches if built with background.
baloons "float" and turns things and thoughts lighter. baloons goes up!. there are other minor pros as I identified.
and it's better than a elementary cloud that could associate with an empty threat, empty life, idle as you've mentioned.
cloud has an IT symbolism that people maybe don't understand immediately,
wall is a IT symbol for firewall and so on.
I think fantastic to see real blue baloon flying at office room. =D maybe it makes me up as your name wrote on pink baloon flying everywhere =D just imagine a video campaign =P

I was unaware of cloud computing...sorry.
I would suggest going the route of the clouds except do something different than the expected cloud. Work the negative space in the logo...
EDIT: maybe try working the string or the top of the balloon as a negative from a cloud? Too much? Crap...I like the balloon.

this reminds me of a very sad clown. He's crying, he's lost his balloon.
feeling 'blue' is not something I would want associated with my company.
living on dreams and custard creams.
That's fantastic, I have a reverse reaction.
I feel a gently blue baloon that never flies away and always stays beside me like a companion, as a cellphone that come along everywhere I go. =D
the baloon wire reminds me a cellphone USB cable too xD
would be a brilliant campaign :D (someone should have made it before xD)

at the same time, monkey1979, what other colors can be used for as a business?
In thinking about the primary and secondary colours....
Red is taken with Product Red, the organization for AIDs in Africa by Bono.
Yellow is taken with YellowPages, to extent Mcdonalds
Orange is taken with Orange, the phone company in Europe
Green is taken with... well, i don't think I need to explain that.
How many colors are there?
in any case, ill work on it, utilizing the negative space and typography, get back 2 u guys after xmas :] thanks for the feedback!
Same as the last time we saw it.
