Peer Education

Hey, I love this place and so glad I found it..But anyway, this is a logo I created for my job. The Peer Education Academy is a program we are testing that teaches young adults who are into social/health/sexual issues more about how these non-profits orgs work and how to get their foot into these originations and be in the position to gain an job so they can help those that are effected by social issues.

An Alternative is attached below

It's not bad, but two things

It's not bad, but two things are off:

1. The white text gets lost over the blend in version 1. Make it some other color like black...
2. Why is the text, the main focus of the banner ads you've posted, on the bottom instead of in the center?

Powerpoint is not a design application

blending

1. yeah, I don't know why I didn't notice that before I hit save.

2. I thought it look nicer being on the bottom then in the center, but now I notice that most(if not all) logos have text centered.

But still, overall, I like it better ten the older ones I came up with.

What type of crowd are you calling out to?

Too busy for a logo, but combined with the comments above, would make a nice web banner, bookmark, brochure, etc.

I think you need to revisit this logo. I'd stick with two, possibly three strong colour selects. Also, try younger, hipper fonts.

urban

Yeah, it will probably be place on the myspace page for the program, since that will be one of the places we are recruiting for this years campaign.

Yeah, younger and hipper fonts is a must(My Job works with youth, so we are always trying to keep up with being connected with the youth culture)...Just so hard to keep hip these days.

But thanks for the comment.

My suggestion...

...like Natobasso, I think your text would be more effective in black, and centered vertically in the banner. How would it be if you had the word "peer" centered in the ring of mortarboards? This would emphasize the "circle of us" idea.

I'll try vertically.
