What do you do? Right now I see this I think furniture company.
As an art director you should know the importance of a brief.

We artists are indestructible, even in a prison cell or concentration camp I would be almighty in my own world of art. Even if I had to paint my pictures with my wet tongue on the dusty floor of my cell. - Pablo Picasso
he told interior design :P
Ronaldo! xD
D'oh! I didn't put two and two together! Not bad for an interior designer logo, but what is the target clientele? I would guess higher end, office furniture. I think that's a smart use of negative space, and the colour scheme is effective. But, will the logo always be on a grey background?

I liked.
think that plus signal could be rounded like karin rashid's feeling.
it's opposit and would complement the cornered mobile.
Ronaldo! xD
Nice logo I'd say. Just simplify it a bit more, specially the outside edges. Try not to just trace a Google image and make it your logo. Customize it a bit more, make it your own.
Thanks for the comments, I believe I posted the wrong picture.. Interieur design was fake.. just needed a subtitle.. Euh, Graphic design it needs to be.
Ouch, that kinda changes things then. What's the concept?

just a ghost job :P

Bureau in dutch means Desk. I wanted to play with the idea that my work starts of behind a desk, sketching or modeling a logo, brand or poster but that in the end I put in more methods like photorapy and paint. So thats were the plus '+' stands for, something simple.. with extra's.. Bureau also is old Dutch, nowdays its spelled Buro.. so I like the Old style desk and look.
In Quebec we have Bureau en Gros and actually Bureau Plus as well. maybe that's why I can't help but make the connection with the furniture company.
That's quite the background story you have there though, and although it's a nice logo, isn't communicated though it.

I'm sorry but I'm Dutch too. Buro is not a Dutch word.
i like the colooours
I like the colors, and I like how it plays with your depth perception. The desk has perspective and recedes into space, yet the + flattens it out again. Could work as a concept if you do 3d package design or web design as well as 2d print work.
Agree with Jack - the desk doesn't need the details on the edges, the simplified shape will still say "desk". Do that and you have a wonderful logo for an office furniture company. Love the colors - everything. But I don't see "graphic designer" in there at all. Even if your idea was to imply you start by drawing - you should have a drawing table, not an old school desk. A desk like that reminds me of a school principal or some Wall Street paper-shuffler - not an artist.
I like the feel of the logo... but
A couple ideas:
Option 1: Make the + the same size as the negative space in the logo. This will make the connection to the logo and the name.
Option 2: Have Bureau go over the desk to line up with the +
Since this is a white logo how will it reproduce on a white background. I think it's going to loose some of its affect as black or gray.
A lot of ideas, I'll post a later version of it soon. Thanks for the contribution.
@ Jack: Sorry, je hebt gelijk, buro is inderdaad geen Nederlands woord. Mijn fout..
Ik zal wat anders proberen. Dank voor je opmerkingen, ik mis de feedback als ik in mijn eentje werk.
