After reading my previous blog post about optimizing Photoshop performance, Matt Kloskowski dropped me an email about his book: The Photoshop CS2 Speed Clinic. I guess he didn't feel like publicizing it himself on the forum, so I'm posting for him.

In the book there is a whole chapter dedicated to optimizing Photoshop as well as a slew of other things. He wrote:

It actually sold out within the first 3 hours of Photoshop World in Miami last week. It's not all about scripting or actions but there’s 2 chapters on Actions, 1 on Batch Processing, 1 on Scripting, a big chapter on all automations, and 1 on Smart Objects, etc…

Even If it saves me only a minute a day, at 22 bucks in can't be a bad deal. My copy is on the way. Hope you guys will find it useful.
