Photoshop Conquers All - HELP!!!

I am slowly but surely becoming more and more UPSET!! I'm running a Photoshop Droplet that batch processes 60 images at a time. The obvious reason is to save me time, and allow me to do other work (NOT!).

For some reason Photoshop WILL NOT run this process in the background. Every time it opens a new file it forces itself into the foreground - effectively forcing whatever I'm working on to the background (duh).

Does anybody have any idea how to stop Photoshop "All of your process R belong to us" from doing this?

If you keep your ears open, you'll see better.

Hmm.. I thought it was as easy as checking a box when you set it up to "run in the background"?

I've been looking through the preference files, but I just don't see it. I'll keep on looking.
