Photoshop CS2 Mac - can anyone help?
Lynx (12 points) | Wed, 2006-11-29 08:51Hi This is my first post!
I know this will sound dumb, but how do I select everything in a layer so that the selection edges flicker? I recently moved from photoshop 7 on a pc to CS2 on a mac, and I'm not used to the mac shortcuts yet.
On the PC I used to hold cntrl and click on the layer but nothing seems to work on the mac. And I don't find it in the help files.
Can anyone help?
Thank you!!

Command click is what you're looking for.
That deselects the layer.
Command (Apple sign) +A - in other words select all or get it from the select menu. Just make sure the layer is highlighted that you want to select.
Hope this helps

With the new layer selections in CS2 you can command click the layer to select/deselect it like in illustrator. So if you want to select the content of the layer, you command click on the thumbnail preview on the layer.
Command + Click the layer without anything selected then selects that layer's data.
