Photoshop CS3

Photoshop CS3 is the newest version of the industry standard in digital image editing. The tool that professionals rely on for the best possible results, Photoshop provides the broadest and most detailed control over and enhancement of digital images. It allows you to maximize your creativity, enhance and edit photographs, create complex designs and easily manage your library of photos, graphics and other design assets.

New in Photoshop CS3:

  1. Greater flexibility with filters and adjustments that stay live and editable.
  2. Better project management with the enhanced Adobe Bridge, now with lightning-fast searching, intuitive image sorting and comparison, and offline image browsing.
  3. Maximum image quality faster than ever with Camera Raw, featuring new, built-in, discrete correction of shadows and highlights, and non-destructive editing of even JPEG and TIFF images.
  4. A simpler, more intuitive interface that puts the right tools at your fingertips, including an integrated Adjustment Gallery and improved palette management.
  5. More natural painting and drawing, with a canvas you can now rotate as freely and easily as hand drawing on paper.
  6. Comprehensive, easier animation development, with new rotoscoping features, including the ability to import QuickTime video and image sequences, and paint cells over time with the help of the advanced Animation palette.
  7. Next-generation, perspective-based editing with the enhanced Vanishing Point, letting you paint and wrap objects onto multiple surfaces, measure distances and export to CAD applications.
  8. More information from your images, with new measurement features that enable you to establish a scale within an image, measure distance and statistical values, and export data to a spreadsheet program.

Could this be true or is it just a prank? Are you happy with it? No core image? No.5 looks interesting, but the rest is marginally useful for a graphic designer.

No way they would release CS3 so soon after CS2. Do the words pissed customer mean anything to them? Likely. :-)

Fake for so many reasons.

I would happily use Photo Pro if Apple released it. Before the school year starts again they'll have something out I'm sure.

fake: just look at the way they photoshoped the adobe and apple box. they're exactly the same. if it was real, how can it have the same size, shape, persepctive... etc.

fake because the features doesn't sound like its what photoshop is meant to do. its all over the place, its like trying to be cad, painter, photography, video, animation, all at the same time.

lastly, putting a filter on the exisiting photoshop icon is just lame.
