Photoshop CS: Color Match
Waleed (539 pencils) | Sat, 2005-06-25 22:27I rarely explore an application to see what features are hidden that I might use in the future. Today, a client requested to use my Photoshop CS to match the colors of their old photos to the ones I delivered to them 2 weeks ago. They'll be sending a CD with their old photos tomorrow..
So, I thought now is the time to learn how you do color matching in Photoshop CS, and here are the steps:
This is my source image:
This is my target image. I'll use the colors of the source image (above) and apply them to the target:
With your target image selected and your source image open, you go to Image>Adjustment>Match Color... and select the source:

When you match the color it also brings out noise on the rocks and on several other places from what I can see? Or is the picture JPEG destroyed?
If not JPEG destroyed it could be kind of unwanted noise in the image..
Yes, it's JPEG noise.. The noise didn't show on the high-res images..

Thanks for the tip :)
Where is the photo taken?
I took those photos in Kuwait (07.Dec.2002) between 5:10-5:30AM using a Nikon Coolpix 5700 (tripod+remote control cord)
