Photoshop Rounded Corners

Anyone know when making a round square how to increase the radius while still drawing it? I know in illustrator you press the up and down arrows to increase or decrease the radius, but this isn't true for Photoshop. So I was just curious if anyone knew

Draw a box with the selection tool and go to Select/Modify/Smooth and type your pixel radius there.

Thanks, that is one of 10 ways and a good one, but i want it to be a rounded square becuase i want the selection to be vector and well when i was draging the rounded corner shape tool and i just wanted to increase the radius before i let go of the mouse, just like how when you press space bar you can move your selection.
