Ok guys, so, tonight, when I get home, i'll have sketches ready to go. This is what I have planned for you guys. Taking into account that time is of the essence, we're going to work on a Christmas themed photo collage. From what I can tell, everyone participating celebrates Christmas, so we should be good to go.
We're going to be creating a photomontage using pictures we take ourselves. Tonight I'll supply a sketch of the composition of a room (2 planes) One by one we will add to it adding something that we created. Example, If I were crating the Christmas tree, I would, for example take a picture of a rubber glove, and copy paste a few of them together until I get some semblance of a christmas tree. i would then take a picture of a light bulb, then copy and paste it a few times for the decorations on the tree, and so on, and so forth. This project is really going to push your creativity.
No pictures from the internet. All pictures must be of objects found around your house. I'll supply a sketch on a layer in Photoshop, and one by one we'll fill in the elements until we have a complete image. If anyone has any suggestions to make this project even more interesting please share. I'll get the ball rolling tonight after class.

My printer is black and white only - which is perfect because everything in my house is monochromatic anyway - but I just wanted you folks to be aware. Can we take photos of body parts? I know something that would work really well for the top of the Christmas tree.

Meant to ask...only the final is to be posted in psd...correct? The rest is all manual work: photographing and copying (mine too will be mono...only a colour printer here).

Has the game already started? What exactly am I supposed to be doing?
The game has begun...Leaky will be posting a Christmas-themed setting and then we're to decorate it using only our cameras, xacto knives, glue and copiers...a stroll down memory lane (is this right, Leaky?).
Currently it's in Leaky's court and then I'm up and then you...
Also, as a workaround for injecting colour into our pieces (sans PS), I am thinking of either outputting files through my colour laser printer, doing my hand work on the pieces, and then photographing the final to upload; or colouring the units that come off the photocopier.
At this point, I am brainstorming...if that's what you want to call a shitload of white russians poured down my gullet.

Just a thing though, can we randomly shuffle the order of participants in forthcoming Photoshop rounds? So not always the same person finishes, or starts =)

You can do it how ever you like. the only thing I ask is that no pictures from the internet are used. You can cut, paste, scan, use frottage, pen and ink. The only reason really I'm letting people use Photoshop is because it's Photoshop tennis!
I've been really backed up with work and classes and holiday events, I have a sketch with me of the layout, kinda wondering how we should proceed with it. the sketch is very rudimentary, 3dog, if I email it to you would be able to post it up? I'm at work and the pc I'm on is old than time itself, it's a .tiff format.
I'll be up to start, hopefully I can get it taken care tonight or latest tomorrow night. Plate's a little full this week.
