ftrc (145 points) | Thu, 2006-12-07 12:41this is supposed to be a flyer for a party that will happen next wednesday. the name is pilha and it means something like "electric". that is why it has some rays of light and a picture with lots of movement, improved by some vector brushes.
that is it. it was done in something like 90 minutes during lunch break. i hope you like it.

I love it. All your work seem to follow this style and youre really good at it. When I first looked at this piece I didnt notice the girl with the wild hair at the background, it looked just like a weird shape in the water...I also love the type face for Pilha wha is it?

and the type is helvetica. i use it in most of my works, it seems better to read and pretty as well. =]

ths is some pretty nice work... I know I'd be interested in checking the party out if i were walking down the street and I spotted this. Great job, especially with your choice of colors. It's definitely an eye-catcher.
You might think about creating that pilha typeface as a font and selling it. It's pretty cool!
