Have you tried the graphic without the mesh? I know what you're getting at but it might suffice without.
I don't like the p and e. I love the f and x and l but the other letters distract.
Nice balance though..
:)
Jhouse I have added a couple of font options please comment on them i have tried the mark without the mesh/pixel ut it is not the same i have revised the mark if you would be so kind to comment on that as well.
Nice start. I like the

Nice start. I like the graphic, however I'd thicken up the thin black line in the mark, along with the white lines within its hatch area--you run the risk of line breakage and fill-ins when reduced in size.

Sorry I only read your comments this morning it is a valid comment and a concern of mine it will definitely be an issue for business cards where the logo is a lot smaller will post an update. Please comment on the new published options.
This is a logo for my personal website/design/branding/advertising company I want to start in South-Africa.

Maybe this option is beter
Example, the purple ones should be black. It'll intergrate better. I like this alot.

Or a cool gray rather than the black, but I agree with dropping the purple ones.
Also like the way the words tie in to one another.

Hi Guys
Thank you all for your comments. I really would like to keep purple the colour spectrum will be incomplete without it. I added some black pixels in A did it quickly so the lines are not quite right yet waiting for your comments before I finish it. I also changes the bottom curly thing in A.
B is the original one from take two and C has the design studio all in lower case don't know if the design studio must be there in the first place and if it should be title case or lower case.
I had to extend the bottom part of the P and the F to sort of hold the design studio in place don't know if it makes the logo to heavy on the one side with the mark as well.
Thanks Guys I value your input and insight.
Really creative logo, I like it. I like the font you chose and I like the "design studio" inbetween the P and the F, it fits really well.
I think you should definitely go with all lower-case, or else Design Studio tries to compete for first in the hierarchy. In fact, the whole name might be too big, might consider trying it smaller while keeping the logo big.

But will it scale?
What will that look like printed tiny? say an inch wide on a piece of marketing material.
great for web, print could be an issue and of course you've added cost by making it a 4 colour job.
