you raise a good point, thanks a lot. My old design was totally out there with color, it's not that i didn't use it well or anything. But what ended up happening was the design was more of a draw than the content.
I thought be being sparing like this, I could reverse that trend, and give my content more focus perhaps..
If I was to spruce it up though, where or how would you suggest? Any ideas?

I think it's cool, the background especially. The little figure falling off the edge is a nice touch!
My first look, though, I totally missed the navigation links at the very top right there. I don't think that's a problem though.
Massive problem in I.E it looks like buddy.
I too think the navigation needs to be brought in a little. It does appear very outcast to the rest of the page/design. How about having them (the links) going across the top of the black border in a diagnonal manner? As with the title, but on a less actute angle.
I like the background and theme, very nice.

Abdul, I hadn't checked on IE6 PC (i'm on mac) .. but it's gotten to the point of annoyance that i'm not gonna go totally out of my way to fix it. It's just a personal site and I really do hate IE6 so it's all good :D

re: the top navigation:
I could bring it more towards the center by 20 or so px I guess. But doing it in the diagonal way, would mean having to recode the image and then the loading for all the rollover graphics...
It would be painful on the bandwidth. Although it sure sounds hella cool :)
