funny... i'm not that religous, but somehow this touches me.

they say he probably won't make it through the night.

same here. maybe we're religous, but we don't know it yet.

looks like there is a chance the first black pope in history might get elected this time. however most likely they want a roman again as it was for 500 or so years.

Somehow I guess I'm the only one not being toutched by him dying in any way. The way I see it, he has been preaching about GOD and good and bad and this and that all his life while trying to get people to live by his rules and the way he thinks reality is good to be lived. Well, now he will at least go see this "GOD" of his.

Then again, if he was lying all this time... maybe he'll just go to hell... :twisted:

Karol Wojtyla, or as most people know him John Paul II, died the 2nd of april 2005 at 9.37, vatican time.

In two weeks the vaticans kardinals will choose one out of 120 men to take his place.

God rest his soul.

I wonder who are the preferiti (the choosen few) for papacy. I really want to see a black guy as the new Pope!

Me too - can't explain the profound sadness I felt when his death was announced. It kinda freaked me out.

i knew he was going to die sooner or later, but was not prepared for it now... it's very sad.. kinda end of a era..
