wow. honestly, that color, especially with that large of a color block, is like a 2x4 to the forehead. even looking at the thumbnails, it's a bit painfully bright.
Instead of using all of that red-violet - which gwells adequately described is like a 2x4 to the head - consult a color wheel and try different color combos - complementary, split complentary, use of neutrals, etc. That way, your logo is what becomes the most focal point of the page. It is a beautifully designed logo, and all of that red-violet overwhelms it and makes it lost on the page.
Still looks like P!nk's financial portfolio website to me.
