...thanks for reply...

...yes, sorry, high pressure water systems, used for commercial and private cleaning of roofs, walls, paving etc...

I think it's pretty good. I like the concept and the type treatment, though I do kind of think the font used for the info should look more like the others, it kind of looks squished.

Also, your proportions seem off for a business card? But, I may be wrong... and of course, you don't have to go by any rules, just thought I'd point it out. ;)

It looks good on its own, but it's way too generic for the creative brief you've provided.

A few things. I can't tell what business this is unless you tell me. Bad. And the logo is smaller than the person's name. Bad. The logo should be less wide horizontally so it can be larger on the card. Can you stack pressure systems on top of South West (which really should be just one word!)?

The tagline doesn't do anything to make the service more specific either. Bad.

However, that said, the design is solid. The content just needs some work and a more obvious hierarchy needs to be created with the elements.

What natobasso said. The tagline (which I realize may not be your idea) is weak. Pressure = transformation could be turning coal into diamonds, or wringing someone's neck to make them change their minds about their tagline. Why not use that space to say "mobile power washing" or whatever?

I like the logo very much, actually, and the way you've screened it behind the guy's name, but if this is an ad that will appear in a newspaper or phone book, I doubt the screen will read.

Is this a business card, though, or a vinyl sign to slap on truck doors, or what? The proportions are wrong for a card, and I can't see putting the guy's name on trucks.

...great comments people, all have been taken on board, it's good to get an objective view of work, first time i've used the site and am impressed. I don't claim to be a graphic designer really, i know the tools of the trade through prepress CTP...

...yes, the tag line is client request unfortunately, southwest (south west) has got me a bit too, i've always believed it to be one word but once again client request, this site appears to be two words:

http://www.southwesttrains.co.uk/SWTrains

...anyway, the top logo is to be used on the van, with usual contact details, not shauns name, the client is dealing with the sign-writers on this...

..the size of the card is a standard UK size at the moment, 85mm x 55mm...

..i will look into stacking pressure systems above southwest, i will try and wring the clients brain into another stapline as suggested...

...once again, thanks for the response, much appreciated...

Southwest is one word:

Ask your client if he wants to confuse customers by splitting up the word, ie. lose money. :)
