not a flattering pic of the model either.

but get that block off the baby's back!! or maybe pick one image - make the mom into a smaller figure? reverse the text. baby floating in air?

there's nothing great about this right now.

thank you
i appreciate the critique
i was trying to avoid white lettering on black background, but it seems that might be a bad idea

thank you...

You need more space. Keep at least 1/3 of your layout empty.

I really don't like the white box surrounding the text. If you have to have it, then I would suggest feathering it to soften it up a bit, or my advice, get rid of it all together. You can just use a white background in the whole thing? The white box just reminds me of a business card floating in air.

Do you have a better image/photo that you have taken of a mother-to-be? I agree with the above, it's not an attractive picture. It could just be the model, but her stomach looks more flabby than pregnant. Or it could be the shading that is used. I hate to say that as I wasn't that hot when I was pregnant either, but if you have other images, I would use another one.

Needs more Space. and I would probably simplify things by using a single image instead of 2.

The white block was easy but too large. The images are more important. The gift tag at the bottom should be more mysterious. Just say there is a gift and then they will call to see what is the gift. Don't spell it all out in one ad. There are too many tag lines."Love. Life. Black and White." "Custom portraits celebrating the miracles of life and love..." That is redundant, no?

I think the baby should get more weight than the pregnant mother. Get rid of the mother all together. The mother is in the baby picture already with her omnipotent hands appearing from nowhere.

Save the pregnant image for the next ad.

I worked in outdoor advertising for 34 yrs. Now, print ads are a bit different but, the rule in outdoor is simple image, 5 words. Try to use that here.

thank you much for your expertise!

I did get rid of the box - it was first to go
I decided to use the "L" from the logo to give some movement as a large background element
mother and baby stand on either side of the L
and I cut down wording a lot - not exactly to 5, but a lot!

I think it looks great - thanks to everyone's advice!
Thanks!

Your card only needs one picture. Pick one and go with that.
