Problem with Website.
Kenn (6 pencils) | Thu, 2005-05-19 00:03Hi Guys, I been running into a nagging, but minor problem on a website I'm working on. Basically, the body copy looks different in IE than in Safari. IE is correct and I can't figure out what to do to fix it. The cells that the text is in opens up a bit too much in Safari. I'm building the site using Dreamweaver. I'm sure some web guru out there has the answer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Kenn

they look pretty much the same on my computer... doesn't help i know :)
... but the difference doesn't impact the site in any way. Unless a viewer was to compare the 2 browsers side by side, no one would be the wiser.
... odd, nevertheless.

What do you mean by saying "The cells that the text is in opens up a bit too much in Safari." Can you refrase?
It looks fine under Safari and FF in Mac OSX 10.4.1.
It would appear the cell spacing/padding changes between Safari and IE.

Alec, that's probably it. I just wish I knew of a way to fix it.
And Ivan? If you go to the "our approach" page. In Safari you will see a lot of leading between Our Approach and the first paragraph. Both are in separate cells. If you look at it in IE it is formatted properly. Strange.
Thanks,
Kenn
