Web Design: 5 years. Print Design: 13 years. Specialize in HTML and CSS and use some C#, ASP.net and SQL for web apps.

I have been working for the past years as the in-house artist of a company that does screen printing, embroidery, and direct-to-garment printing. My job is varied but primarily consists of art-clean-up, separations, digitizing, re-drawing or re-design of logo's for garment printing. Also the frequent requests from companies or people who want "something" printed but only have a vague idea of what they want.

Being the only artist here, and balancing so many different things is a challenge. Even more so for me because I have had to re-learn on my own everything I had once done and learned in college. I didn't complete my degree, and took a three-year hiatus during which I never expected to wind up back in this industry. So I've been playing catch-up for a year, learning new operations, processes, and frequently banging my head on a wall going "Why me? How did I end up in a job like this." While loving every moment.

Been creating all my life. Started getting paid for it twenty years ago.

Studied as an Architectural Technician in College. Worked for a few years directly in the field. Returned to school for an intensive diploma in Multimedia Design. Have since Merged the two fields and continue to make ways around all sort of design work.

I am currently working full time as a team leader at McCann Worldgroup Caribbean.
