PS CS3 cursor becoming stuck?

Does anyone have a problem with the cursor becoming stuck on PS CS3?

Example: I will be painting with the airbrush, and after doing something the circle that represents my airbrush tip will become stuck on a random pixel on the canvas. If I move my cursor off the canvas i get my cursor back, but as soon as i go over the canvas again it becomes stuck in that same place.

The only solution I have found is to shutdown PS and open it again. I thought this was something wrong with my machine or a corrupt install, but it happened after a reformat and it also happened to me twice in the computer lab at the school where I teach PS.
