"package and export" files in Illustrator CS?

I read somewhere that there is a plugin

that allows you to export a file as a package like InDesign

does, including fonts etc.

Any Idea?

There is a separate application that does the job, it's name is ArtFiles: www.code-line.com

You can also use FlightCheck Designer to collect everything... again, a stand-alone application. Works with Quark & all major Adobe apps including Illustrator.
