'rds photography' Business Cards

I've recently designed my first business card as seen above. This is the front and rear. I've had 200 of these printed and would have liked to have received critique on them prior to printing. Unfortunately I needed some cards for an event I was covering last weekend. I've tried to make it as clean as possible and utilising one of my images on the rear.
I cover all sorts of photography but will be primarily covering stock photography as well as photojournalism but not limiting to this. I do not currently have a logo but have utilised an aperture vector as a stop gap until my branding is complete.

I like it alot
The picture you took is sweet too. Did you play with it in Photoshop? It's clean and professional.
Image as taken
The image is as it was taken, I took it on a gloomy day in London on the Southbank, grey clouds and drizzling. This family were playing in the fountain and I took it through the water with a slightly slow shutter.
Best image of my day, I plan to replace the image each time I have a batch printed.
Thanks for your comment, any ideas on a logo something I'm not great at. I started playing with the letter rds to make a camera but was looking too much like the iStock photo logo.
I like it.
I especially like the picture side. That would look super sweet with a high-gloss varnish. The information side is simple and works. Personally, I'd shrink the type down a little, but it's not that bad as is. Overall, nice cards.
dropped 1pt
I've now dropped the text on the email, web, and phone numbers by 1pt as seen on the attached pdf.

matt laminate finish
I had these card printed on 400gsm card with a Matt Laminate finish either side which lifts the saturated colours in the image quite well although I agree a high gloss would set it off even better, just not sure my budget would allow for this.
Anyone utilised Spot UV varnishing I was thinking of using this on the front on the aperture logo and not have the light grey underneath the varnish.
As for the text I'll try shrinking it down a point to see what it looks like, thanks for your quick responses its my first critique on the site and appreciate your feedback I enjoy designing just need to practise more!!
i really like this...
you could even get away with just doing a regular UV coating on it to give it a glossy look. really nice, clean and simple, the typography reads clearly, a tad large for my liking, but not a problem at all.
Though i have one thing, it looks like a SLIGHLTY odd size.. is it? i know personally when i get odd sizes business cards, i toss em. they piss me off, they don't go into business card holders nicely, they're just a general pain in the ars....
nice work! well done.

Size
The card is 85mm x 55mm the same size as my debit & MasterCard and fits perfectly in my wallet. I've just dropped the size on the font to 10pt Gill Sans on the telephone numbers, email address and web address and looks better in InDesgin although looking at the finished product looks good on printed stock at 11pt.
Anyone know how to distribute objects evenly in InDesign all I can find is 'Align' but in Illustrator I have the option to 'distribute' as well as 'Align'. Sorry if its a noob question but this is the first project I've used InDesign for.

Bar
One thing that really irks me is the bar on the left is not the same width on both sides.
agreed
Now you have pointed it out It annoys me to, I'll have to see how well they look the same colour/size.
I've attached an adjusted pdf showing the changes of the bars so they are of equal size, I still like the opacity but feel the front is now too big. I have to accommodate a 3mm bleed as well as the text being 3mm from the edge.

Large Type
The type size on the name, phone numbers and email, web information seems a bit large to me. Also, the shutter logo really reminds me of the Chase logo.
The back of the card is solid. Sweet shot.
hmmm
I must admit I've never heard of chase until I just did a google search :) I can see the familiarity, I'd really like to design a more appropriate logo but I'm struggling with ideas, I'll have to get them off paper and in to illustrator for you guys/gals to help me out.
I'll take some photos of the finished cards for you all to see the sizes of the font, and you'll probably still agree its a little large.
Thanks for your input!
