it was somewhat inspired by horror movie poster. the idea there was to post somewhat rockish but not that much.

I like the stark contrast. I think the text in the middle could be moved down a bit so it's not interfering with her face so much.

You NEED the type there. The interruption is what makes the copy get noticed. Hard angles on soft face... jarring... I love it.

I would only suggesting putting some sort of 'musical' element (ie. a guitar, amp, microphone in front of the girl, even if just faded out) in there for those schlubs who aren't familiar with the event advertised in the poster...

i tried to make this more "musical" but it didnt work like i imagine so i gave up and used another approach. but i would do that again.
