kidtone (114 points) | Mon, 2005-07-18 17:46Well the site is finally launched - you can view it at www.tegacaygolfclub.com. I pretty much used everybody's comments to bring it to where it is now so thank ya'll. Let me know your thoughts.
FYI the drop down menu looks funky in firefox but perfect in IE, i had to use so many tweaks to get it just right in IE so I gave up on firefox.

Your background graphic is funky, looks like you didnt erase part of something to the right of "course details" there is some white. Why not make the bg that green color instead of a graphic, other than that, the site is sweet. And the drop down loads funky in safari as well, especially when you roll over, but its not bad. nice job.

Yeah, there's some funkiness in the background there.
The white space on the right side of the page is uneven. It's bigger than on the left. That really needs to be changed (make is more obviously asymmetric, or don't do it at all).
Also, the gray space on the left should extend down below to the bottom of the page, instead of having that white space near the bottom there. The "You are here" area, with the drop shadow, looks really bad with the white below it (and then gray again after the white!) but the gray to the side. If you need to keep both of those different shades of gray, blend them with a gradient or something.
There are some things that could be definately be changed with the grey boxes.
As for the white on the both sides I don't really mind it not being asymmetric, its funny because it was at one point in the process of building this in the style sheet then something went wrong. :)
