Reworked biz cards

Hi all, here is a reworked version of the buisness cards I posted in the critique a week or so ago. Let me know what you think. =)

have come up a bit strange here. both the blue and the silver look different. in the file the blue is not so bright and the logo shows better.

The lab logo is hard to see. i understand it will be better in print. I don't like the logo at all. Doesn't mean anything and as a typographic design, it doesn't do well. all elements on the front of the card are too big. They take up the whole space leaving no white space. the double lines are elements which are not really necessary and introduce something that is not followed though on the back. On the back the numbers are too close to the edge.

This looks really generic and nothing seems to fit.

The front looks really weird and there are too many type styles trying to fight for my attention.
The back is weird.
If you're going to do a two sided card always make sure the contact details are on the front.

parts feel disconnected when really they shouldn't be. for example "the lab"..."the " seems like it shouldn't be bigger then they height of the "lab" word.

also everything on the front is in lower case except two words, the first one which i can't read well and the "Web" they stand out awkwardly. I also find the "support" part odd, if i was having someone design something for me, I'd hope they'd give me some support along the way.

as for the colors, I'm sure it will look different in print, that's one for you to decide.

thanks for the advice so far. The weird thing with the colours is that they also look completely different in my jpeg before upload - i dont know why - so im not only waiting to see if they look different in print. the blue is pantone coated ds211 5c which is really different from the one represented here - and the logo is a pantone metallic colour - light silver.

the 'support' part apart from being obviously support generally as you say - is tech support - computer breaks - we fix it type thing. I see what you mean about the disjointedness. I much appreciate all your comments, thanks for taking the time to help. =) will keep working on it.

The colours on the "view original" look better. I assume it's because Drupal resized the image and it lost some information in doing so. Possibly your RGB colour profile.

Create a background with a 460px width, as required when you post critique, and paste card onto that. I suggest laying out the preview vertically, not horizontally like this example... beneath each other and saving it in Photoshop through save for web to a png. The preview should come out more or less exact.
