I think very good logo...But a contour of "R" on your place i would make more thin !
What it for a type horn at the left? - what you want to show with this horn???
Who and where is the designer of this logo?
Leaky Penny

Leaky Penny, I designed this a few months ago for the seo software that we developed. We are based out of Charleston SC.
Designer88 im not sure i understand. But it is a Rhinoceros. I wanted it to reflect the stocky stature of a the animal so thats why i used the thick contours.

The bird has no purpose in the logo, and shrunk down it would be unrecognizable. The horn concept is ok, but....it just seems weirdly executed. Why is a rhinoceros being used as the mascot for a SEO company?

The tick bird will be a speck when the logo is reduced to typical business card size. I don't think you need it.

I like the mark and agree to leaky penny on the tiny bird. Also it would help if you could provide more company background and design brief and your design rationales, it is hard to judge by looking at the design only without context.
Another suggestion, you may want to close the open space at the bottom of the R so the enclosed area can be filled with a 2nd color if you need it.
Don't close it in - you'll lose the sense of the "leg" of the Rhino. I totally saw the rhino. I agree about the bird tho - it needs to go. At small sizes, it will look like a smudge or mistake.
Nice.
The tick Bird represents the symbiosis and partnership. i also feel that it contrasts the weight of the rhino. I could see how at small sizes it becomes unrecognizable but we rarely if ever use it on a very small scale.
I feel it is a small detail that functions as a visual surprise for those who give it a second glance.
The rhino was decided on before i was involved but for what it is worth i like the way the words sound when spoken.
with all that being said i really appreciate your comments and feedback. i have been looking for a good venue for this kind of communication with other designers and artist. Sometimes it feels like i am designing in a bubble.
Cheers to you guys.

You can simply use two versions to address the tick bird. A lot of companies use two different logos - one for large sizes and one for smaller applications to account for things like thin lines, etc... Just have a smaller version without the bird would be my advice. The other thing you might consider is enlarging the bird. It seems out of proportion to your rhino - it should be a little larger in my estimation.
good point :)
Looks great- though the upper corner in the left where the rhino merges with the 'R' bothers me a bit. I wonder what it would look like if the corner was rounded?
Well, the logo is quite good. But like others had mentioned, I think the top left corner shape, the small bird, the open space at the middle bottom, and the contrasting outline of the 'R' and the 'rhino's head' need refinements.
